The world needs more courageous compassion AND smarter solutions.

Poverty is a multi-faceted issue. A-State students and/or young adults in the J-town area, can join us on A-State's campus for a Saturday workshop of learning and poverty simulation experiences about the asset limited, income constrained, employed people all around us ("the working poor"). Quality and experienced professionals involved. Meal provided. Giveaways. And participants will help us choose a community initiative that helps ALICE people to award with a $2500 grant.

Rev. Sarah Ellzey (M.Div.)

Sarah brings 5 years of experience coordinating Poverty Simulations for Mission Waco and leading in a co-housing initiative for the A.L.I.C.E. in Waco, TX. She is now pastoring in Trumann, Marked Tree, and Lepanto. Board member for Trumann's homeless shelter, Stepping Stone Sanctuary.  Court appointed volunteer advocate in Jonesboro for children and youth. Mother of 3 kids.
